Notes |
Name:
- One obituary states that Avery H. Williams came to Harrisburg 9 years earlier, but two others (which are identical with each other in many respects) state that he came to Harrisburg 15 years earlier.
- Avery E. Dunn observed and recalled the following in connection with her father's obituary in The Virginian Pilot: "This gives my dad's brother's full name (I'm sure the J. is for James) and my grandmother's full name. Now I'm thinking Talley must have been her middle name and Collins the name of her first husband, if I'm correct that she had a husband before Williams. Given I remember her family referring to him as "Captain Williams" I wonder if he is buried in a veteran's cemetery."
